The first National Skill Conference of Iran was held at the Technical and Vocational University

The first National Skill Conference of Iran (NSCI 2024), hosted by Technical and Vocational University(TVU), was held in 3^th and 4^th Ordibehesht 1403 (22^nd and 23^rd April 2024) at the international conference hall of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) with the following main themes:

• Governance of higher skill education
• The future of the worker and future occupations
• Skill development and the 7^th development plan
• The role of government, private and public sectors in technical and vocational education
• Comparative study of the status of higher skill education in Iran and the world

This conference was attended by Dr. Zolfigol, Minister of Science, Research and Technology, officials and authorities, presidents of universities in Tehran province, experts and scholars in the field of skills, owners of industries and senior managers of labor and production enterprises, university chancellor and board members, presidents of TVU provincial branches, a group of researchers and enthusiasts in the field of skill education, students, etc., were inaugurated and during two days, in specialized panels, specialized articles were presented by experts and those interested in the field of skills with the approaches defined in the themes of the conference, as well as specialized round tables and training workshops held in the field of skills.

At the closing ceremony of the conference, with the presence of the parliamentary deputy of the president, the pioneers of the university for their years of effort in higher and skill education in the country, as well as some industry owners and winners of top articles honored.
