Technical and Vocational University achieved a 78-rank promotion in the Green Metric 2023 world ranking system among the 36 largest universities in Iran, along with other universities in the world.

Mr. Farajollah Talebi, Director General of International Scientific Cooperation Office of Technical and Vocational University stated that in line with the internationalization of the activities of the Technical and Vocational University, every year this university participates in the Green Metric global rating system, in which the capabilities and facilities of the technical and vocational university are important.

He also added that the evaluation indicators in the Green Metric rating system are based on long-term strategies of sustainable development in educational centers and its purpose is to provide a comprehensive perspective of the current state and policies of education and environmental research, green management and the use of renewable energy in the path of sustainable development in Universities of the world. In this ranking, there is a set of 39 indicators and 6 criteria, which are settings and infrastructure (SI), energy and climate change (EC), waste (WS), water (WR), transportation (TR). and education and research (ED).

Technical and Vocational University ranked 433^rd among Asian universities, 330^th among large universities with more than 15,000 students, and 199^th among large universities in the world.
