The Minister of Higher Education and Research of the Republic of Mali met and talked with the President of the Technical and Vocational University(TVU), this morning on July 6, 2022, at Dr. Shariati Technical and Vocational Faculty for Girls in Tehran, and a memorandum of understanding was concluded between the parties in order to provide higher skill, technical and vocational education.
Dr. Ahmadou Keita attended the Shariati Faculty on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, while meeting and talking with the president of the Technical and Vocational University of the country. They visited the workrooms and laboratories of the Shariati faculty and got acquainted with the educational potentials and capabilities of this academic center.
In this meeting, while introducing the position, activities and capabilities of Technical and Vocational University, Dr. Khosravian stated: We in Technical and Vocational University are very interested in providing our scientific and skill training internationally. He also added: There are many technical and vocational training capacities in TVU, and considering that our trainings are in line with the labor market.
Further, Dr. Ahmadou Keita, Minister of Science and Education of the Republic of Mali, called TVU active, powerful and the education of this university valuable and stated: We are planning to establish a new university in Mali, which will have different faculties and departments in the fields of traditional arts and vocational education.
He pointed out that in terms of the quality of technical and vocational education indicators, the future of our cooperation with TVU is very bright, and we hope that with this approach and the creation of cooperation areas, education in our country will be properly guided and strengthened.
Dr. Ahmadou Keita said: We are very interested in establishing this joint cooperation in the field of arts and crafts between republic of Mali and TVU of the Islamic Republic of Iran so that our young people can enter the job market by learning and implementing practical training.
It should be noted that in this meeting, due to the importance of international cooperation in the development of educational, research and technological activities of Technical and Vocational University, a memorandum of understanding on university scientific cooperation between the country's Technical and Vocational University and the Ministry of Higher Education and Research of the Republic of Mali was signed by the parties.
Holding joint educational courses, holding specialized training workshops for students and teachers, exchange of faculty members for study opportunities, holding joint international conferences, carrying out joint research projects, exchange of teachers and students, participation in competitions and scientific events in the technical and professional field, defining and holding joint courses of new technical and professional fields and other matters agreed in the signed memorandum of understanding.
