Visiting research centre, workrooms, and laboratories at Pitesti Universit

TVU delegates visited the research centre and laboratories for automotive engineering, and workrooms for electrical and computer practical courses

Farajolah Talebi, Director General for International Scientific Cooperation, said that “while TVU delegates were in Romania we kept negotiating with our counterparts in international office of Pitesti University so as to arrange a visit to the laboratories and workrooms”.

Due to the covid-19 bans and restrictions classes are held online in Romania and it is not permitted to have in-person visits to on campus facilities but as one of the important purposes of this event was visiting the workrooms and exchanging ideas with Romanian professors and lecturers on vocational training, it took a while to convince them and permit TVU delegates to take such visits.

Fortunately, respecting social distancing policy and all other health and safety protocols, our delegates visited the research centre and laboratories for automotive engineering, and workrooms for electrical and computer practical courses, on Friday November 12. It was noticeable that one or two professors were specialized for every workroom and laboratory. Besides, university would pay all the costs for coursework and student projects. Moreover, Pitesti University professors had a number of research or production contracts with different industries in Romania and students were involved in conducting the researches and relevant activities.

Talebi mentioned that TVU professors took the RT-PCR test on Saturday November 13, received the results on Sunday and took the flight back to Iran on Monday.
