TVU delegates deployed to Pitesti, Romania
TVU professors selected from different TVU branches across the country taught Pitesti University students in a variety of technical courses.
26 TVU professors selected from different TVU branches across the country, including TVU President special representative Dr. Salmani and headed by deputy director general for international office Mr. Nazerian were deployed to Romania to perform a one-week teaching mobility programme at Pitesti University, in-person. Delegates left Tehran on Sunday November 7 and arrived in Bucharest then moved to Pitesti, on the same day.
The mobility programme started by a formal meeting on Monday morning November the 8th. Dr. Salmani and Mr. Nazerian met Pitesti University President Prof. Dr. Eng. Dumitru Chirlesan, and negotiated over activating the potentials of establishing lasting scientific collaborations between academics and students of both universities.
The second programme, on the same day, was meeting Director for International Relations Center of Pitesti University. All TVU delegates met Dr. Loredana Blojuo, face to face, who explained the details of Erasmus+ teaching mobility programme and the agenda of the week. By the end of the meeting TVU professors signed teaching agreements and received the funds provided by European Commission, Erasmus +Programme.
Since Tuesday November the 9th TVU professors started teaching Pitesti University students in a variety of technical courses. Every professor instructed for 8 hours, online. Classes were all interactive and, alongside their students, Romanian professors were also taking part in discussions. Teaching activities continued for four days till Friday evening, November the 12th. During the week TVU delegates had four meetings with deans and faculty members of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Humanities departments so as to exchange ideas and experiences in teaching vocational courses to our students.
