TVU professors were invited to perform a face to face Teaching Staff Mobility between November 7 and November 15, 2021 in Pitesti, Romania
Farajollah Talebi, Director General for International Scientific Cooperation, being interviewed by the public relation officials said that within the framework of Erasmus+ programme KA107 and the inter-institutional agreement signed between Technical and Vocational University and Pitesti University of Romania on 23rd of April 2019 in Tehran, TVU professors were invited to perform a face to face Teaching Staff Mobility between November 7 and November 15, 2021 in Pitesti, Romania.
Talebi added: the mobility programme was to be performed in February 2020 and, back then, four TVU professors in Automotive Engineering Department were selected to take part in that scientific event. However it was suspended due to Covid-19 outbreak in winter 2020 after which all international programmes were banned.
He continued: as the bans gradually lifted after global vaccination programmes, TVU and Pitesti University cooperated to accomplish the suspended mobility programme. TVU international office negotiated further and fortunately succeeded to give rise to the number of staff to twenty six faculty members from four departments, Mechanical Engineering (Machine Tools), Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Computer Engineering.
Talebi also mentioned that: in addition to four faculty members in automotive engineering plus two reserved members selected in February 2019, other eighteen professors were selected according to the certain criteria agreed upon by both sending and hosting universities.
Delegates were to deploy to Romania in November 2021.
