TVU faculty member won Silver Medal in the International Festival of Inventions and New Technologies, "Silicon Valley" USA (2021)

Mr. Mohammad Reza Samadi, Faculty Member of Mechanical Engineering Department at Borujerd Technical and Vocational College, based in Lorestan province, won silver medal and the second rank in the “International Festival of Inventions and New Technologies” in (Silicon Valley) USA.

International Festival of American Inventions (SVIIF), sponsored by the International Federation of Inventors (IFIA), US Patent Office (USPTO), Property Organization WIPO, PALEXPO Switzerland Exhibition Center, American Institute of Inventors (UIA) in Silicon Valley, Santa Clara Convention Center (Heart of Technology World Center, San Francisco) was held online in June 10-12, 2021 in the state of California and representatives from more than 30 countries participated in this annual scientific event which was hosted online by the United Nations Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the American Institute of Inventors (UIA).

The main focus was on Inventions, Innovation and Commercialization Methods, and also the creation of small and medium-sized high-yield businesses.

In one of the mechanical engineering competitions, Korea won the first place (gold medal), Iran the second place (silver medal) and India and China together the third place (bronze medal).
