Presence of Technical and Vocational University in the ISC ranking system and obtaining the 47th rank in Iran

The Islamic World Science Citation Center (ISC) annually evaluates the country's top universities and research institutes based on the quality of performance in the fields of education, research, technology and innovation, internationalization, economic impact, social services, infrastructure development and facilities. And publishes the results of the ranking of the top 100 universities and research institutes in the country.

Farajollah Talebi, Director General for Office of Scientific and International Cooperation said in an interview with Public Relations: "In the latest list published and the ranking report of the academic year 2019-2020 by ISC center, Technical and Vocational University(TVU) for the first time among the top 100 universities in the country, along with Hamadan University of Technology, Qom University of Technology, Kermanshah University of Technology, Birjand University, etc., was ranked 47th."

He added: "TVU was ranked 2nd in the index of social services and development of infrastructure and facilities after the University of Tehran, as well as in the indexes of technology and innovation and economic impact, 12th and 18th, respectively."

Talebi acknowledged: "The Office of Scientific and International Cooperation in cooperation with the Center for Monitoring, Evaluation and Quality Assurance of TVU has provided the ground for the university to participate in this ranking for the first time."
