An international Summit on Technical and Vocational Training Governance in Iran

TVU delegates, as the representative from MSRT, attended a two-day summit on "Technical and Vocational Training Governance"  held by the Ministry of Cooperatives, Labour, and Social Welfare on 6 & 7 February 2019.

Representatives from five different Iranian ministries and The German Ministry of Education and Research participated in the summit.

Participants were to analyse the German model of Technical Training called the "DUAL VET System"and to decide upon a local version out of it.

The main topics were: 

1- Who is responsible for what?

2- How to customize the local model of DUAL VET

BIBB, GOVET, and i-Move were the German parties at the summit and their delegates were as follows:

Dr. Henk van Liempt, Director General of international cooperation of BIBB

Dr. Ralf Hermann, Head of GOVET

Ms. Inga Hennicke, Responsible for the desk of Iran in The Ministry of Education and Research

Mr. Michael Schwarz, Deputy Director of International Consultation of BIBB

On the first day all the beneficiaries of Technical and Vocational Trainings presented their organizations to the German parties,

and on the second day, they negotiated on the above mentioned questions.
