The 15th Meetings of Deputies and Directors of International Scientific Cooperation

Deputies and directors of international scientific cooperation of Iranian universities, research centers, and science and technology parks met at Kashan University in the presence of ambassadors of France, Australia, Indonesia, Hungary, and Switzerland, Chancellor of Kashan University, and Acting Minister for International Scientific Cooperation of MSRT.

In this meeting, Prof. Salar Amoli, expressed his gratitude to the respected ambassadors, university chancellors and university deputies, and elaborated on three main topics of ‘implementing joint research projects internationally and having an active contribution on internationalization of Iranian universities and research institutions’, ‘involving science and technology at different levels and in various social, economic, political and cultural activities of the society’ and ‘expanding technical and vocational trainings for further expanding the link between university and society’. Moreover, emphasis was also made on the importance of sustaining international academic, educational and research cooperation between internal and universities abroad, as well as adopting a systematic approach on joint research cooperation between Iranian leading house universities and their partner universities abroad.

Furthermore, participants of this meeting attended and share ideas on three main technical panels of ‘latest development in international research cooperation’, ‘management of international research’, and ‘ranking of Iranian universities, research centers, and science and technology parks’.
